  CommsConnect to Host Certified Quintum Training Course

CommsConnect are pleased to announce that an official Quintum Technical Training course facilitated by a Quintum Technical Trainer. There will be two sessions which will cover a period of two days each, with the first from 8th-9th and the second from 10th-11th September 2008. If you have not received training in the last four years, now would be a good time to schedule a certified Quintum Tenor Admin. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive certification from Quintum.

As you may already know, the 2008 training material is completely revised and contains newer SIP features and configurations. Please be advised that due to the anticipated demand for this course, places will be allocated on a "first in best dressed" basis.   Quintum Tenor AS Series to be Phased Out

Quintum Technologies will be phasing out the Tenor AS series of products in the near future, and this line will be substituted by the current AF series. Please start using AF units in place of AS units in your future orders. AF series models have the same pricing as the AS series while offering the same functionality.





Unisys Introduces Free Service for Clients to Test Drive Microsoft Unified Communications Technologies Using a Tenor VoIP Gateway

Unisys Corporation announced the availability of a trial service enabling enterprise customers to test drive Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007, and Microsoft Office LiveMeeting at no cost. Teaming up with Quintum Technologies provides Unisys back-end support for the communications platform, while bringing the reliability and voice clarity of public telephone networks to Internet telephony.
