Comms Connect is moving office!
Comms Connect is relocating to a brand new office located at 32 Delhi Road, North Ryde, which is scheduled to be completed in mid-April 2008. Neighbouring the new office are leading international corporations including Microsoft, BOC Gas, CSIRO & HP Compaq to name a few. The office is also within 300m distance from the new North Ryde underground station (expected to open later this year), with direct links to Chatswood, Macquarie Centre & Epping. We are confident that the lifestyle changes that will come with settling in to a new office will be beneficial for both our employees and our resellers.

PortaSip Selective Call Processing feature - MR16
"Selective Call Processing" feature of MR16 enables the subscriber to program very flexible call flows both for centrex and Auto Attendand (hosted IP PBX) functionality of PortaUM.
Sometimes incoming calls need to be treated differently, i.e,
- calls from your boss or secretary should reach you on your mobile phone even during the weekend, while other calls can go to voicemail.
- calls in the evening hours should go straight to your mobile phone, while calls from your ex-girlfriend should always go to voicemail.
With the "Selective Call Processing" feature, a subscriber can define a set of rules that will be applied to every incoming call. Each rule may include a set of conditions based on the "calling number" (e.g. you can list extensions for your boss and secretary, your home phone, your wife’s cell phone number, and so on.), called number condition or the time when the call is made (this is ideal to make sure your phone will not ring in the middle of the night).
When an incoming call matches a certain rule, one of several possible call processing scenarios will be executed:
- Ring, Forward, Voicemail
- Ring then Forward
- Ring then Voicemail
- Forward then Voicemail
- Ring only
- Forward only
- Voicemail only
- Reject
If "Selective Call PRocessing" is disabled, then the above rules can be used under "Service Features' tab without the added flexibility. |
